Research scope

Four perspectives on market position

The review combined market, buyer, supplier, and roadmap analysis.

Market and supplier landscape

A market overview and supplier matrix compared service models, customer segments, data capabilities, modelling, data exchange, real-time scoring, and reporting. The work included profiles of eleven platforms and an updated watchlist reflecting consolidation, new entrants, and specialist providers.

Buyer perspective

Research examined tools already in use, willingness to switch suppliers, purchasing volumes, and process requirements.

Supply-side analysis

The comparison covered competitor scale and location, commercial performance, track record, pricing, business models, and support structures.

Roadmap and partnerships

The platform roadmap was reviewed, with recommendations on product opportunities and potential partners.

Method and evidence

Sources agreed before research began

The source plan was defined up front and included in the final evidence handover.

Research inputs

The agreed source plan included more than 200 relevant paid and open reports, social-listening tools, and structured interviews with management and technical specialists.

A broader expert network of more than 2,000 contacts on each of two professional platforms supported the market analysis. Platform and supplier names are omitted from this public reference.

Evidence handover

The proposal specified where the research would look for evidence before the work started. The final handover included the underlying sources and studies, so the basis for the findings could be reviewed rather than reconstructed later.

The work was delivered directly by the advisor, from scope and research through analysis and executive presentation.
